the power of nature

Icelandic nature is our most precious asset. ON Power is guided by sustainability, responsible use of resources and respect for nature. In the spirit of this vision, the company wanted to capture the powerful energy that lives in the Icelandic landscape - and turned to photographer Anna Maggý.

Despite having previously declared that she would never photograph nature, as she believed nothing could compare to experiencing it with her own eyes, Anna Maggý rose to the challenge when the project from Strik Studio and ON came up. She was given complete freedom to approach the material on her own terms and create her own vision of the power of nature.

"The framework I set for myself was simple: to capture the energy of nature, without anything man-made in the picture. What fascinates me about Iceland is how the light, the weather and the landscape are constantly changing - always a new experience. We do not create nature, but we can learn from it and be aware of our impact on it."
